Stage 20 Roses тАФ> Mandelieu-la-Napoule (Cannes) 511 KM (Total 5645 KM)

At night before our departure, it is very windy and that gives us a small taste of our drive towards ЁЯЗлЁЯЗ╖.

We cross the Pyrenees and the wind in ЁЯЗлЁЯЗ╖ becomes stronger and stronger. In our weather app, we see that wind force 6 is forecasted here and the wind is gusty from the port side, which makes it dangerous for us motorhome drivers ЁЯШП. There are large warning signs on the highway warning the motorhome drivers in ЁЯЗйЁЯЗк about a lateral wind! Apparently, strong winds are frequent here and we imagine how many motorhomes have already fallen victim to this before the ЁЯЗлЁЯЗ╖ put up warning signs in German ЁЯШ│ЁЯШ▒.

On the way, we are overtaken by a low loader, which is loaded upright with a large plastic swimming pool and is dangerously swaying back and forth - really crazy the risks the drivers take just to be maybe half an hour earlier at their destination ЁЯЩД. The strong wind accompanies us for the next 300 KM until shortly before our destination and we drive accordingly cautiously ЁЯШЕЁЯШЕЁЯШЕ.

Mandelieu-la-Napoule is located 8 KM before Cannes and is a small chic village where water sports and golf are central themes. Our campsite is small and fine - we lie down by the pool immediately after arrival and feel comfortable right away.

The campsite is so centrally located that we can easily visit the places Cannes, Grasse, Saint-Tropez, and Monaco from this location.

The next day we ride ЁЯЪ▓ to Cannes, roam around the town, and then enjoy the southern French way of life with a glass of wine at a beach bar.
