13.02-15.02 Nelson

On 13.02 we went to Nelson, we were too early, so we went to the 'Riverside Pools' swimming pool (5$ p.p.). After 1.5 hours of swimming laps, we happily went shopping at New World. The weather had improved by then, so I could even walk around in shorts.

We strolled through the city center and I had a smoothie before we went to the hostel: Paradieso - with a 12m pool, whirlpool, sauna, and SkyTv. Unfortunately, the hostel was overcrowded and there was always dirty dishes in the kitchen, very annoying.

At around 3 pm, we met up with Anne (from Kerikeri). We walked around Nelson for about 3 hours and talked about everything that had happened in the meantime. It was incredibly funny, especially when we came to a kind of 'fitness park'.

In the evening, Max (from Westport) also came to our hostel, we cooked, played table tennis, and chilled in the hammock until he went back to his hostel around 10 pm.

On my birthday, I had the rest of the pasta salad for breakfast, while I answered the first birthday wishes on my phone.

Around noon, Fritz gave me his gift: SUPER DELICIOUS PANCAKES 😍

We lounged in the sun by the pool for the rest of the day, until we cooked a rice dish in the evening and Max came by again.
