After a cold shower on the beach, we continued our journey from Greymouth.
Although a large part of the West Coast is still closed or only accessible from one side, we were still able to explore at least the upper part of the West Coast.
After Greymouth, our next destination was the Pancake Rocks, which are called that because they resemble stacks of pancakes due to the many layers of rock.
It's interesting to see something like this, but it didn't blow us away. We stayed overnight at Fox River again, at a free campsite right between Fox River and the beach.
Every morning at this campsite, a 'Pancake Man' comes with a cart and serves hot drinks and pancakes. We were even there at the right time because on Sundays, the Fox River Markets take place right here on the beach.
From here, we took a short walk and wanted to go to the 'Ballroom Overhang', but unfortunately the water from the river we had to cross was simply too high, so we had to turn back halfway.
