Nicaragua - Ometepe

प्रकाशित: 28.02.2017

We stayed on the island of Ometepe for about 3 nights and rented a scooter to explore the island. As soon as we started, I had a little accident in the first curve and scratched my leg. Great, Regina, you're really good at this. Well, that was the first and last time I rode a scooter :D I ended up riding with Roman. Hey, it has its advantages, at least I could peacefully enjoy the surroundings and someone had to take photos and cool selfies, right? :) As part of our tour, we visited Ojo de agua, where you can cool off if you haven't just flown there and are wearing a bandage :D

Despite that, it was still a great trip. Unfortunately, we had a bit of trouble when we returned. They wanted money from me for the damaged scooter, of course. But 40 dollars was an overkill because only plastic parts were damaged, nothing serious. After a long discussion and involving the police, I ended up paying 25 dollars.

And now I have to tell you this. You know how wound dressings stick to the wound because of the wound fluid? Well, at the pharmacy, they recommended using a thin sanitary pad instead. At first, I thought it was a joke, but no, they were serious. Okay, I tried it and oh man, you won't believe it, it works like magic. Poof, it's gone. Thanks for the awesome tip :D
