Brazil: Manaus

Stopover in the former Amazon metropolis. The decay is a slap in the face for the Central European eye and at the same time this dilapidation creates a unique urban atmosphere. Sprinkle in some street art, Rio Negro and Carnival and voila Manaus becomes a hidden highlight :)
