Arrival and first day in Hanoi

We start with a very comfortable journey by train to Vienna Airport. My Mastercard includes entry to the Skylounge, so we take advantage of that. Time goes by quickly and things are already off to a flying start. After a stop at the huge Istanbul airport, we continue to Hanoi. We each took a sleeping pill (halcion). I was able to sleep deeply for 6 hours.
We are welcomed into our boutique hotel with tea and warm refreshing towels. We get a great room on the 9th floor. The view is outstanding. Our hotel also has a Skybar where we start with a welcome drink. Afterwards we go for a walk. We will be from the t
Bustle on the street captured. Everything happens on the narrow streets: cooking food, shopping, pedestrians, moped drivers, drivers.
The guest gardens all look the same. Small tables with plastic stools. We eat our first pho and spring rolls.
