Tuscany Dream Tour 3.0 Day 1

I wanted to go to Sicily this year, absolutely! I had everything chosen and booked—and then my heart got in the way and I was drawn back to Tuscany ☺️🤦‍♀️.

And—I did everything right, my heart won over my head and that was a good thing. When I arrived in Florence, I immediately got the car at the airport and set off. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the deeper I immersed myself in the incredible green of Tuscany, the more I felt like I had arrived back in Italy—my second home in my heart.

I had to stop again and again to take in the landscape, it took three hours instead of two to get to Castiglione d'Orcia. Finally, I had to stop on the way for a strawberry/lemon ice cream😋😂(number 1)

This place is just as beautiful as it was two years ago, the view from my apartment under the sky is still so beautiful you'll cry, and the silence!! You can hear the wind, a bird, a pigeon - and otherwise just pure, silent beauty that I can look down on from my terrace. Thank you for that!
