Tandem tour Day 57

Petra:

After a hearty breakfast on a very sunny balcony, we rode through many forested areas today. So we had plenty of shade. In the late afternoon, we treated ourselves to a small thunderstorm to conclude the tour. As you can see from the pictures, I really like our accommodation today, simply delightful. The owner of the cottage is also very nice and accommodating. The thunderstorm cooled the air quite a bit, so it will definitely be more relaxed tomorrow when riding. Today the force was with us (the wind) and we made good progress, although we had to tackle some climbs (small ones). When the thunderstorm came over us, we raced through the forest with many other cyclists. It was somehow cool and a bit eerie. I accidentally ripped off our taillight (of course not on purpose) shortly after Nancy (so it's been a while) and during the wild racing, I was a bit afraid that we would be overlooked. I always have the taillight ready in case someone stops us, then it just came off.
