Another skiing day comes to an end. We probably can't call our skiing beginners that anymore, because they mastered the slopes like pros. And the advanced skiers summarized their day for us:


It's already Thursday! Crazy how time flies. After yesterday's sun happiness, today the wind swirled masses of snowflakes around our ears. But that didn't deter us. Like every day, we were on the slopes shortly before 10:00 a.m. when we received the news that Austria has tightened its COVID-19 measures. We learned that a PCR test is now required to enter the country. Since we didn't want to risk a fine of €1200 per person, we all stayed on the Winkelmoosalm. Initially, the ski course for the ninth graders was supposed to take their performance assessment in technique at 11:00, but it was postponed to the afternoon due to the bad weather, and they just practiced diligently. The advanced skiers from the ninth grade had fun as they were allowed to conquer the slopes in small groups. But the beginners also joined in. Today, everyone successfully skied down the red slope from the top for the first time. To warm up and refuel, everyone spread out to the two huts and our warm room. At 3:00 p.m., Mr. Weichard and Mrs. Moock conducted the performance assessment in short turns and emergency stops. Completely exhausted from the difficult conditions, everyone finally gathered at the bus. After packing and a delicious dinner, everyone met in the common room at 8:00 p.m. We did a rapid test. The result: all negative!
