Happy new year ❤️

A lot has happened in the last few days since my last entry.

My boyfriend didn't want us to spend our first New Year's apart, so he traveled all the way around the world and landed in Sydney on Sunday evening. It was the most beautiful end to the year and an even more beautiful start to the new year 2020 for me. It's still hard for me to grasp it all.

I could hardly imagine spending New Year's at the other side of the world, but being able to do it with the person who made my 2019 the most beautiful and whom I missed the most was simply incredible!

We rented an apartment through Airbnb for a week. Our accommodation was in a very good location near Bondi Beach. Unfortunately, the apartment was uncomfortable and dirty, and we had uninvited guests like ants, cockroaches, and a huge spider.

So we quickly moved to a hotel where we will spend the week.

We spent New Year's Eve in St. Leonard Park with a perfect view of the impressive fireworks. For the first time on New Year's, I felt like I had everything to be happy, so I simply enjoyed the fireworks and the atmosphere on site.

We are enjoying a relaxed time in Sydney, sightseeing in the city and exploring the countryside with a rental car.
