July 20, 1810

Colombia fights to free itself from Spain. And today, in 2017, it fights again. For the freedom from corruption, drugs, and violence.

I have decided to incorporate dramatic pauses into the next topic and divide it into three chapters. Not least because the topic is too complex to describe in one chapter, I have pondered suitable titles for a long time. Then, thanks to chance, I discovered a movie title from my youth at a sales stand at the church in Medellin, between old pornos (yes, I know, but more on that later), and thus also my chapter names.

The next chapters are therefore also dedicated to my Western-loving father. 😊
