In the shade of the drilling tower, which has been pumping the brine from a depth of 238 m since 1778, we spent our lunch break. By the way, there is not a single shop along the entire route. We didn't visit the towns along the way today because of the detours. It's good that we had everything with us. However, the Leine River is rarely visible. The natural river course with its many floodplains unfortunately does not allow a continuous route along the river bank. Instead, the route often runs off the road on quiet rural roads or along the railway tracks. The entrance to Göttingen through the parks was green and beautiful. Great city center and delicious falafel.
