Day 7 - Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara has two main attractions as a city: the mission and the courthouse. Both buildings have been preserved since their founding by the Spaniards (I use Spaniards and Mexicans synonymously) around 1770 - 1780 and are sold as historical sights. The buildings are impressive, but they cannot compete with Spanish cultural and historical sites like Madrid or Granada - everything must be seen in context.

Other than that, Santa Barbara is mainly made up of restaurants and bars, which probably also contributes to the fact that people here are in such a good mood - an American vacation spot. Of course, this also includes the complete water sports offer - even the locals say it's pricy.

The tourist program can be done within half a day and after that you simply have to go to the beach, because that's the best thing about Santa Barbara.

Not only because of the sun, the sea, the sand, and the beautiful women, but also because of the mentality of the people. The atmosphere is open and magical, people are so happy and you soak up their good mood like a sponge (which they always find great anyway, more on that later).
