Christmas dinner in Indonesian

We had decided to spend Christmas in Kuta and stayed a few more days.

Paul's thoughts in the last days were only about whether Santa Claus will make it to us. We explained to him that it will probably be too hot for him, but maybe he will come by with a surfboard 🏄.

To celebrate the day or rather the evening, Sri, the owner of our bungalow, invited her guests (us and 2 Austrians) for dinner. We were asked beforehand what we like, whether vegetarian, fish or chicken. Paul got extra French fries and for dessert vanilla ice cream... the best for him throughout the whole meal.

For the adults, Sri and Frédéric prepared a 3-course menu... soup, tofu curry, garlic fish with rice and for dessert brownies with ice cream. We were so full afterwards, it's enough for the next few days 😊.

The highlight for Paul, however, was the exotic decorated gift table including the Christmas tree... 🍍. He didn't expect that, especially since he didn't know who the gifts were for... he was sooooo excited... but he had to wait until after dinner. Even though there wasn't much this year, he was very happy and satisfied... Maybe we should repeat that next year 🤔?

Tomorrow we will leave Kuta and fly further east to the island of Flores. From there, a trip to see the Komodo dragons is planned.
