From Bad Neustadt to Marktbreit

Today we had another U100 stage. It went really well because we got the only significant mountain test out of the way at the beginning, when it was still quite cool. Later on, we went into the Maintal to Schweinfurt, where we didn't see the Main river because the path initially ran slightly apart from it. We only really saw it about 10km later in Wipfeld. There we took a lunch break at a very nice spot and then crossed to the other side with a small Main ferry. Just before our destination in Marktbreit, we reached the 1000 km mark of the tour. After 106 kilometers for the day, we reached our goal.
