Thailand: Phuket

A few days ago we were at Kata Beach in Phuket. Our hotel was right on the beach, which was very beautiful and calm. The waves there were also really amazing. Besides Kata Beach, we also went to Freedom Beach, which is simply stunning. The path to the beach was a bit adventurous, but we managed it with flip flops :D To explore the island, we rented a scooter and drove around it once. On our tour, we stopped at various beaches and viewpoints and visited the Big Buddha statue. As always, street food was the highlight when it comes to food. We were pretty lucky with the weather, as it had apparently been raining there for the past few days. The sun was shining for us until the afternoon, then the first clouds came and it rained in the evening or at night. From Phuket, we then took a ferry to Ko Phi Phi.
