Day 26: Excursion to Erawan National Park

Today was finally the day: we risked renting a scooter in Thailand for the first time... and spoiler alert: it was a lot of fun and nothing happened!! :)

So we had breakfast in the morning and then went off to look for a scooter, rent it, and start driving... the owner of the scooter probably thought I would die during my first attempts at driving, but everything was fine. Then we tried with Kathrin, also all good. So we can start... Just head east and follow the signs to Erawan National Park. However, halfway there we saw a sign for a waterfall that we had also read about in the travel guide. So we first went to Sai Yok Waterfall and then continued to Erawan National Park. A really great day and above all, a very nice feeling to have the freedom to go anywhere you feel like...

On the way back, we passed by a Thai restaurant in Kanchanaburi. We had a scooter, after all :)
