Living at the beach

Helmut had contacted me. He would take the ferry to Loutro today and then hike from there to Agia Roumeli. So I packed my stuff together and headed to Loutro. There I went swimming in the sea and then went for breakfast. Now I just had to wait for the ferry. Helmut and I then had a coffee together and I got my power bank back. Helmut then went on his way to Agia Roumeli and I continued towards Sweatwater Beach. That was only a short distance. There is also a beach bar there. Unfortunately, the card reader didn't work there. However, the owner, Georgis, didn't want to let me go hungry. He told me to simply pay tomorrow at his brother's in Sfakion. How simple some things are. I spent the rest of the day at the beach. Katarina lives there and has been coming here for 30 years, selling homemade jewelry. I was invited for a after-work beer and we had a chat.
