Rotorua last day & Taupo

In Taupo, we went on a short sailing trip on Lake Taupo and visited the Maori Rock. On the way back, we couldn't resist jumping into the cold lake.

We took the challenge of climbing the still active volcano. Unfortunately, we had very bad weather with fog and rain. We couldn't see the beautiful Emerald Lakes very well, but we saw many different landscapes. Soggy and relieved, we completed the 19 km in 5 1/2 hours.
