Finally in Darwin...

Finally we have arrived in Darwin. It's really hot here (38 degrees), luckily we have air conditioning and a fan in the room.

Since we've been here, we have slept a lot, eaten a lot, and done some shopping. The selection of gluten-free food here is huge and the prices are similar to Germany, but everything else is expensive or unaffordable. Patrick also has an Australian SIM card and we both have a tax number.

We've already met some people here and have job offers, but we're not ready yet, we need to open a bank account first.

For food, we had cereal, fruit, vegetables, and homemade sandwiches. We've been too lazy to cook so far, but that will change tomorrow.

The two flights from Singapore to Perth and Perth to Darwin were comfortable. We liked it better than Emirates. We flew with a Qantas Boeing 737 each. The food was very delicious and there were gluten-free cookies with Australian rum for snacks.
