Today was the first day with really nice weather, even though it was still quite chilly in the morning. However, the wind decided not to support us anymore. Strictly speaking, it wasn't actually the wind's fault - it blew as strong as ever from the northwest to the west - but rather the Elbe River, which in the millennia of its existence had decided not to flow exclusively from southeast to northwest, but also directly in a northern or even northeastern direction, which resulted in the wind often blowing from the side or even from the front.
Enough complaining, now a brief summary of today's route. Shortly after Havelberg, we crossed the Elbe with a tow ferry, and then frequently rode on the dike in a southerly direction towards Tangermünde. Here we treated ourselves to the first tour ice cream. Then we continued to Rogätz, where we again crossed the Elbe with a ferry. The last 10 km to our destination Burg were once again pure pleasure with the wind at our backs. Here we have found accommodation at the Hotel Villa Wittstock, which, at first impression, is the most elegant accommodation of our tour so far.
