08.01.2018 - Trip to Hatillo and a first-class hotel

This morning we visited the Marino Ballena National Park (Whale), which was really amazing at low tide. You could wade over to an island and swim there wonderfully. We skipped the whale watching tour that was offered everywhere, because the Ticos couldn't guarantee a sighting of whales, so we only saw a 0.1 tonner : - )

Since the hotel didn't make a better impression even after one night, we decided to use Booking again, which spit out the Casa El Toucan. Spit..booked and behold, a different class was to be found here.

After a somewhat adventurous steep ascent, we were greeted by the French-German operator couple. Fresh coconut water and infinity pool included... Very very cool...
