Downtown of Calgary

Today I took the bus to Downtown. However, first I had to exchange a $5 bill for coins, as you can only pay the exact amount on the bus. After about half an hour of driving, the Bow River is crossed and you reach the heart of Calgary. On the sides, one skyscraper stands next to the other.
My first stop after arriving was the Calgary Tower. On the observation deck at a height of 109 meters, you have a beautiful view over all of Calgary. Since today was dominated by bright blue sky and sunshine, it was even possible to see the Rocky Mountains. An incredible sight!
After a hot chocolate and a walk on Stephen Avenue Walk, I took the bus back to Huntington Hills, as I still have some packing to do. Tomorrow morning, I will continue by bus to the Rocky Mountains in Banff National Park.
