So we spent 2 days at this campsite.

We started with water balloon competitions invented by the kids, which I won both.

After that, we booked canoes. We had tried before, but many rental places were closed or fully booked. So it finally worked out for a proud price of about 130 pounds for 3.5 hours.

We first rode through a world heritage aqueduct and then through a small channel. These channels stretch very far, you could have driven at least to Liverpool, and many narrow long motor vessels were cruising around where you could also sleep. Camping on the canal.

The area couldn't compete with the Spreewald or the river trip in Denmark last year, but the briefing was good where someone explained to us how to properly paddle with a short single paddle.

The next day, we hiked to enjoy the beautiful view from a nearby castle ruin (Castell Dinas Brân).
