Monique wanted to leave right away. The day started early with a departing motorcycle and soon after with the children's group next to us. By 7 o'clock it was impossible to sleep anymore.

Still, we decided to stay because our goal was actually the beach. There were supposed to be fossils to be found. Despite the general bad mood, we searched diligently. Unfortunately, the wind picked up quite strongly, but it was still bearable.

There is also a supermarket here where we bought the ingredients for pancakes afterwards. Even without a mixer and a scale, they turned out pretty good.

By now, quite a few other visitors have started to pack up. While my weather app didn't show any further deterioration, the neighbor said that there should still be wind up to 50 km/h and heavy rain.

So, just to be on the safe side, we prepared the car for sleeping, also because the tent already had problems staying upright. It seemed to be due to a loss of pressure caused by a valve not properly closed.

Emil, Moritz and I then went to the swimming pool while Monique was still taking down the tent.

When we came back an hour later, even more guests had disappeared and the awning was about to give up because of the strong wind. So we packed everything up outside and brought it into the car or stored it securely against the wind. Then the four of us went into the car. But that didn't last long, so we went out to eat. Outside, it wouldn't have been possible to do anything.

So tonight is a test for the rooftop tent during a storm, so far it is holding up well. It has also become much quieter in the campsite 😀
