सिमरिशमन मध्ये अडकले

We have been in Simrishamn since yesterday. A small village at the beginning of Hanö Bay. The bay with the archipelago was our goal, and now it is in sight. But we haven't been battered enough by the weather yet, now we are finally stuck. It has been raining continuously all day and our plan to continue tomorrow is currently in jeopardy. There is a lot of wind forecasted for tomorrow. Once again, we are frustrated.

The conversations of the other German sailors are all going in the same direction: people are annoyed. There is no trace of summer vacation and relaxation. Some are even considering giving up sailing and buying a campervan. Because one could think that this is simply a bad summer by chance. But if you believe the weather experts, the weather is becoming more and more extreme and this is just the beginning.

Since the last ports in Denmark, we have been meeting the same people in almost every port. It already feels like an involuntary group vacation 🙈 But it shows: even the others with mostly larger boats are not faster or better prepared for the weather.

Against the weather, nobody can do anything 😑
