10.12.2016 - Alvor

We have decided to stay at this campsite for 5 nights. The place is nice, with endless opportunities for walking and the price is 50% lower than the normal price (which is not high either). Also, it's time for laundry again, 14 days have passed. :-)

Today we took a walk of about 10 km through the village, along the wooden walkways (see photo) and along the Atlantic Ocean.

The Christmas decorations here are very different from ours. Not as lavish, partly made from plastic bottles and car tires (see photos). Some caravans and places on the campsites are heavily decorated with colorful, blinking lights. We mainly observe this with the English. Christmas time feels a bit unreal here with sun and 20 degrees. The many blooming plants somehow don't fit with Christmas. :-)
