On Saturday, I stay away from the crowded Valley and go on a moderate hike at Tuolumne Meadows.
The lake is beautiful. During the tour, I meet some biologists who are reintroducing frogs. Overall, I think the management of the national park is well organized and they keep the park very natural considering the number of people.
Next, I go to Lembert Dome, which offers a very nice view of the Tuolumne Meadows. And there are good climbing spots.
In the afternoon, I drive an extra hour to the Sequoia Trees. Although there are also normal trees in giant sizes here, Sequoia Trees are something completely different.
Oddly, they need fire to have seeds in the ashes and to have less competition while growing. Their thick bark protects them from the fire.
I reverently lift my head towards the sky.
