Tag 55 - Dubai - Yacht - Mall

First we rested a bit at the hotel pool. After all, breakfast always costs energy 😁. Fun! We went swimming - as far as it was possible. The water temperature in the pool is really refreshing and cooling. It's pretty warm in the sea.

We were then taken to one of the ports in Dubai. There was a tour on a yacht. We went among the millionaires 😁. The weather was fantastic again (as usual 😅). The crew was great, looked after us well and looked after us. Everything has to be perfect when it comes to service. Really impressive. This is Dubai.

We drove along the river, past the skyscrapers, sailed to the Palm and to the Gulf. We were able to watch a plane land right next to us. They simply have a runway for small planes in the water 😅. Totally crazy. But that's typical Dubai. Everything here is somehow crazy and megalomaniacal. Hotels, buildings, projects,… There is another skyscraper with a height of over 1000 in the planning. Coincidentally, Saudi Arabia is working on similar plans to surpass the Burj Khalifa... Some compete in Formula 1 - others just build skyscrapers to compete 😅.

But it was very, very nice. We were literally ensnared with grilled food and drinks. During the trip we met Germans and had a great chat. At first we spoke English... It took us a while to get it figured out 😂. 2 hours later we arrived back at the port. It's hard to believe, but then they immediately started preparing for the next tour. They are so hard-working - especially the grill master in this weather 😅🙈.

Afterwards we went to the Nakheel Mall. 🛍️
