Sydney Day 2 - Bondi Beach

प्रकाशित: 14.10.2017

Here we go - the sun is shining, we're going to the beach. Got tickets for the bus, by the way, it's awesome here, bought an OPAL card, loaded it with 10 dollars and it's valid for bus, train, subway, ferry, and who knows what else. Scan when getting on, get charged when getting off, it's really convenient. Do I need to mention that I was at the bus stop with my hotel card 😂😂, so back to the hotel to get the OPAL card. I think Anna stole it from my bag to show me how forgetful I am...

Breakfast on the beachfront in perfect weather, that's how the day starts, then Anna bought a bikini and now we're lying on the beautiful white sand enjoying our vacation. Couldn't resist taking a dip, according to the sign it's 19 degrees, I found it freezing, Anna too, but it had to be done, when else are you near the South Pacific 😉?

After having a barbecue, we walked down the Bondi Coastal Walk, what a beautiful area, look at the pictures. The ICEBERG pool is closed on Thursdays for cleaning 😡😡😡, what a fuck, but there was another one in the next town. However, more and more wind was picking up, no more sunbathing and sweating, goosebumps, and that at 28 degrees, doesn't matter, into the pool with the sea in the background. Pool temperature similar to the waterfall at Ralf's birthday, Rudi and Tino, you know what I mean 😉

In the evening, back to the hotel, shower, chill for a bit (as Anna puts it), then had a small meal and went to the harbor by bus, to the Opera Bar, and let Sydney wind down with an Espresso Martini, it was really tasty, thanks Jette for the tip...

Then tired back to the hotel and off to sleep... in between, missed a bus stop, ended up many stops away, got off in the middle of nowhere, waited for a bus in the other direction and then finally sleep at the hotel 😃
