England June 2017 - Second Day in Scarborough

Our second day in Scarborough actually started with nice weather! This was going to be the first day without rain. We had to take advantage of it and visited Scarborough Castle. It's definitely worth a visit, the grounds are extensive and the view from the top is wonderful. We didn't need a guide, Luke took care of that ;) You could even go dragon hunting along the way!
In the afternoon, we strolled through Peasholm Park, which was very close to our B&B. It's a really beautiful city park!
In the evening, we went to a place called 'East Coast Kitchen'. Everything is done up like an American diner, including the food. I treated myself to a hot dog with pulled pork on top, and Luke had the best burger we had tried so far. The dessert was also something else: deep-fried Oreo cookies! Hello heart attack :D
However, I survived, so we could take a little digestion walk along the coast afterwards. When we returned to our accommodation, we could watch the beautiful sunset.
Tomorrow it's time to leave again and head to Whitby!
