Phu Quoc 1st day: Relaxing at the beach 🌴

Today we lounged on sunbeds on the beach of our resort, surrounded by coconut palms. It was wonderful to just enjoy the peace and quiet 🌴🌞☺️, laze around, listen to music, and cool off in the sea 😁😉 - absolutely fantastic! Normally, this is not my thing, lounging around all day on a sunbed 😉.... But after Angkor, I just want to lie down 😂!

The water is really warm and crystal clear, so I armed myself with my diving goggles and snorkel and went into the sea! Unfortunately, I didn't see anything interesting 🙈! Only tiny fish, which was a bit of a shame! But fortunately, no shark came by 😂!

In the afternoon, we took a long walk along the beach and suddenly the sky became cloudy 🙆! The sky turned 'black'!!! We quickly walked back to the resort and then it started thundering and lightning ⛈😀! It was really intense, I found it really cool because it was right above us ⛈! We thought the island was going to sink because it was so 'black' above us! But no, it was just a small and short-lived thunderstorm 😉! And just like that, it was over 😁.

Let's see, maybe we'll rent a scooter tomorrow or the day after tomorrow! We definitely want to explore the island, there are supposed to be even more beautiful beaches here 😊!
