Day 20+21+22 Koroni-Polylimnia Waterfalls-Cape Tenaro-Gythio

In Koroni we stayed until around 14:00 so that we wouldn't arrive too early at today's destination. It worked out wonderfully, a new parking lot right at the entrance to the waterfalls was perfect for overnight stays. Of course, we immediately headed towards the multi-tiered waterfalls, hidden in the forest and feeding about 15 small lakes. You can refresh yourself wonderfully in the upper one. Robi was particularly brave and jumped from a rock about 5 meters high. In the afternoon and early morning again. For dinner we had hot dogs and for dessert a magnificent starry sky, decorated with shooting stars, which often elicited "Ahhh" exclamations. In the morning, after another visit to the waterfalls (we were all alone there), we chugged along at a comfortable travel pace to Mani. Mani is a region in the south of the Peloponnese, so to speak, the middle finger. It starts south of the city of Kalamata and ends at the tip of the middle finger. Charming landscapes, beautiful beaches, clear water and lovable villages with the famous residential towers, all this is worth seeing and experiencing this beautiful piece of earth.

We arrived at Cape Tenaro in the early evening. We spent the time either swimming or hiking to the lighthouse with magnificent views of the coast. Plenty of water in our luggage, because it was still 36 degrees. In the evening, it was the same program: fascinating starry sky and then the warmest night so far.

In the morning we set off for Gythio. Here we parked again at a campsite, because in the evening we want to go to Takis. The tavern right next to the campsite with a funny boss, a good-cooking boss and it's clear, leave the car behind. Here we don't mess around, we go all out.

At some point, somehow everyone made it to bed. I think today will be a tough day for some.
