Nächster Halt Mt. Cook

After my brother and his buddy Lukas announced themselves for 04.02, we set off on 02.02 to pick them up at the airport in Christchurch, which is 430 km away.
Our route led from Cromwell via Mt. Cook, which is New Zealand's highest mountain.
The way there was so beautiful that we decided to definitely go to Mt. Cook with the guys. The path leads through a big mountain pass, through valleys, up to a huge lake that ends right in front of Mt. Cook. Mt. Cook rises into the sky with a snowy peak and small mountains. Very majestic! We spent one night at a campsite located right near the mountains. We could see the mountain from our car window. In the morning, when there is no cloud in the sky and it can be illuminated by the rising sun, the view is most enchanting. In the morning after having breakfast in the sun, with a direct view of the mountain, we set off towards the airport. We still had 4 hours of driving ahead of us.
