Hanoi - big city in the north of Vietnam, 14.02.2020 (Day 13)

After a small breakfast, we explore the city, but both quickly realize... phew, this is absolutely not for us.

When we were in Bangkok three years ago, we had the same opinion.

Quickly, we agreed to avoid big cities on our further journey and travel more to smaller places.

Well, we will somehow get through the day 😊

Once again, we book a taxi through the Grab app and off we go to the famous Train Street of Hanoi.

Since we have informed ourselves beforehand, we know that Train Street has been actually closed for tourists since last year...but if you say at the entrance that you want to go to one of the numerous cafés right next to the tracks, you can get in without any problems.

After about an hour, it's finally time and our café owner quickly clears the tables and chairs to the side and sends us to the opposite side of the houses. From a distance, you can already hear it... the train is coming 🚞

Wow, amazing...we knew that it's a big train, but we didn't expect it to be so narrow and the train to drive through the canyon of houses so fast 😂🙈

After a minute, the whole spectacle is over and the café owner puts everything back in place.

Definitely worth seeing, something like this would never happen in Germany... way too dangerous 🙈

We walk back through the streets for a bit, but we just can't warm up to this huge and noisy city.

Without their honking in cars or scooters, everyone would be lost here. Everyone honks 🙉

After a delicious dinner, we return to our hotel.
