From the Arctic Circle to the Sperm Whales

Yesterday I mentioned that we had slept in a special place - right on the Arctic Circle.

We only realized it when a red rope was laid on the road in the parking lot and rolls and sparkling wine were served for a bus full of pensioners.

Julius had mentioned earlier that he had to take a swim in the lake (and of course Konstantin too). Both of them were very proud when we said that they had taken a swim right on the Arctic Circle.

After this adventure, we continued through Lapland, across the border to Norway, and along fjords, mountains, and lakes for many hours.

Finally, we made it. 3,860 kilometers - after more than a week, we arrived in Andenes.

Very beautiful but also very windy and accordingly cold here. By the way, the photo of the coast was taken at 0:30.

Tomorrow it's time to relax and the day after tomorrow we're going on a whale safari.
