Today we set out to our last accommodation, a ranch in the middle of nowhere. Along the way, we stopped at a beautiful waterfall. There, we could also observe iguanas (lizards) and we also passed by a German bakery where we got a really good pretzel for 4 dollars. The prices are insane in Costa Rica, everything is very expensive. We also passed by a kind of Swiss village, where apparently immigrants had settled. Costa Rica has many immigrants, primarily Americans and Europeans... They all want to live the PURA VIDA, Costa Rica's motto. They use it everywhere as a greeting, and when you leave a store or restaurant, it always says: 'Pura Vida!', which means that you should enjoy life, take it slow, and savor every moment...
