We set our alarm clock because the weather forecast predicts a rainy afternoon after a sunny morning. We want to make the most of the good weather and have planned a hike through Noosa National Park. The trail leads us past white beaches to the viewpoint Hells Gates. We like the coastal area, but we decide to take a different path back to the starting point. The trail that goes through the national park instead of along the coast is much less crowded and equally beautiful. We desperately try to spot wild koalas in the trees, as the national park is known for its sleepy inhabitants. Unfortunately, without success.

After the hike, we move the camper first, as we can do without a parking ticket. We prefer to invest our money in ice cream. We end up at an ice cream parlor that was recommended to us by our tour guide in Sydney and that we have not yet found anywhere else. After the super delicious ice cream, we stroll along the street and discover a very long line in front of the Ben&Jerry's ice cream shop. We quickly find out that today is the day of the year when a promotion event takes place. There is free ice cream. Without hesitation, we line up and 10 minutes later, we have the second ice cream in our hands within half an hour. What a life!

Originally, we wanted to lay down in the sand, but change our plans when we see the completely crowded beach. We do some shopping and then drive to the campsite earlier than expected for the upcoming night. Rebecca devotes herself to her book, I can't sit still once again and do some sports. The predicted rain did not come. The weather report is becoming increasingly unreliable, which does not make choosing the next destination any easier.

Tomorrow we will continue down the coast to the Glass House Mountains. Our route planning, as in New Zealand, is a bit chaotic as we try to avoid the mostly rainy weather as best we can.
