About old Swedes and good food! 🌭🔥

We have discovered another new place. And what a one: back in the middle of the forest, but right on the lake with a bit of sunshine and a fire pit. The best thing: we are completely alone.

Almost! 😅 On the second day, two older Swedes come in the morning with a large trailer full of wood, make themselves comfortable and unload the wood in between and prepare the fire pit again. We're working in the van. After a while they come to us and let us know that they have now restored the place and that we are very welcome to use it again. They also point out to us that they have brought good wood again and give us the tip that there are a lot of chanterelles here. SO NICE 🥹 We know that there are many places (especially in the south) where tourism and freelancing often get out of hand and you may not be seen as welcome in such official places. This nice encounter was even nicer! 🫶🏼👴🏻👨🏼‍🦳

Of course we took advantage of it and built a fire for lunch. Appropriately enough, we had (vegan) sausages with us and made bread.

Otherwise there was refreshment in the lake in the morning and games in the afternoon 🎲♟️
