Finally it starts...Thursday at 6:04 a.m. from the Rhineland to Frankfurt, then just under 6 hours to Dubai. The advertising for the residential area in Dubai was probably supported by Deutsche Bahn, at least there is one of their BMWs in the driveway. Stretch your legs for 2 hours, resist the temptation to finally buy a G-Class and continue to Singapore in just under 7 hours. A pleasant 18° inside the building, 28° outside and high humidity, great for palm trees and water lilies. After 1.5 hours we got back on the plane, now it's off to Melbourne in 6 hours. When you change trains, colorful panda bears appear at the new gate. Now we have to wait another 2 hours until we finally get to Christchurch in a good 4 hour flight time. Changing always takes time, but the stages are not too long; 1 film, some food and sleep, then you can walk again.

When I arrived in Christchurch I spent about 36 hours traveling from door to door.
