Tag 1 - the arrival

After a flight time of 10.45 hours, we landed in Varadero at around 4.45 pm local time. The airport is approximately as close to the city as the International Airport Magdeburg-Cochstedt 😬

The Varadero airport is located in the middle of the 'wilderness' and is quite manageable (at the time of landing, there were about five airplanes there).

The roads were well built and wide on the way to the hotel. The minimal traffic has a positive effect on the mood, everything is relaxed.

The streets are dominated by buses, individual horse-drawn carriages, and bicycles. There are many motorized two-wheelers and some cars.

After we received our little red racer 🏎, we drove for about 45 minutes towards the hotel, where we could watch the sunset 🌅 on the beach and end the evening with a cool freedom drink with lime 🍋.
