If you love history, this is the right place. So why am I here? No idea, it was on the way and must be seen as the capital.

Fun Fact: In Washington, there is no 'J' street.

Washington DC uses letters for streets that run from east to west. However, numbers are also used for streets. Streets that run from north to south are numbered. The 'I' and the 'J' were very similar in older English. Often they were interchangeable. Thomas Jefferson often used the initials T.I. Strangely enough, there was no J society during World War II. So there is no J street because it looks like an I.

Blah blah, thank goodness for Google. Despite all the presidential hustle and bustle, the park surrounding it is still impressive, beautiful, clean, and worth a visit.
