Our last day of vacation with Marius is dawning. So everyone is not in a very good mood, partly because there is no coffee machine 😑. We walk to a shopping mall, look for sunscreen, take a taxi to the laundry and then walk to the Café de la Mañana, where we treat ourselves to brunch. Our moods are already improving rapidly 🤭. Then we go shopping. Marius - the shopping queen - is very successful and we also find a few nice things (we can highly recommend Cartagena for shopping). At around 6 p.m. we are exhausted and make our way back to the Airbnb. There we end the evening and play Mäxle and student activities until late at night.

After a hearty breakfast and a short trip to the sea, where we actually manage to finish reading our book together, it's time to say goodbye. We will miss you, Marius 😘.

We fly to Cancun via Bogota. Since we have 6 hours at the airport, we drive into the city and try to find something decent to eat. When we drop off our luggage later, we naturally have a brief moment of stress again. To fly to Cancun, we need a return ticket, which of course we don't have. Luckily, there are onboard tickets and everything goes well again. If it's not good, it's not the end 🤣

On the plane, a row of three can secure us. Asma lies down and immediately falls asleep. Lissi and Scholle hardly get a wink of sleep. Lissi especially because the turbulence doesn't let up and she's starting to panic that she might crash. Before the flight, she watched a video about plane crashes 🤪🤪🤪.

4 a.m., finally in Cancún. Now it's time to go to the Airbnb to get some sleep. When we're told the taxi prices, we want to get back on the plane and turn around. But we're not going to be fooled that easily and run out of the airport. The price is halved and we finally get on. Hola Mexico 🤗
