9th - 11th March 2018 Bad Dürrheim

This weekend we tried to go on our own for the first time. Our initial plan was to go to Ticino, but the weather forecast there was worse than in the north, so we decided to go to Bad Dürrheim instead.

When we arrived on Friday evening, we first had to fill up the water tank and find a spot to set up. But when we wanted to go to bed, we realized that we hadn't filled up the water. So we had to fill up the freshwater tank and move the motorhome back to the spot.

After a quiet night, we woke up in the morning and once again, there was no water for showering. What's going on? After reading the instruction manual, we found out that we had to adjust something in the frost control. So we had to fill up the water tank again and move back to the spot.

In the afternoon, we went shopping and bought a data internet card for the mobile router, so that we could go online occasionally. It's not easy to get such a SIM card when you don't have a residence in Germany.

After dinner, we went swimming and to the sauna at the Solemar, as the admission is included at the motorhome parking area.

On Sunday, after a hearty breakfast and a walk in Dürrheim, we went back to Solemar before saying goodbye after dinner.
