Arrival in Lima

I can't believe it, after a total of more than 18 hours of travel and at least an hour's drive to the hostel, I have finally arrived in Lima.

The hostel is definitely better than I expected.

Right after checking in, I met my roommate from Austria (shoutout to Sarah☺️) with whom I chatted for a while.

After a slightly shorter but still restful night, I was picked up at 08:30 by Marco Polo, my tour guide for today, for the city tour.

After the 4-hour tour, I needed a slightly longer break.

Lima, as expected from a large city in South America, is very noisy, with lots of traffic and lots of people. But the view of the Pacific Ocean is simply beautiful.

As the crowning end of the day, Sarah and I watched the sunset over the ocean and then enjoyed a delicious pizza and a Corona in the rooftop bar.

Tomorrow, I will continue towards Paracas at 06:30.
