We continued to Krabi Town to pick up my mom who came to visit us for 16 days 😊

The plan was to spend one night in Krabi Town and then pick her up at the airport the next afternoon.

When we arrived in Krabi, we had to go to the Immigration Office first to extend our Thai visa 😀 Pure money-making because the whole process took less than 5 minutes and cost us 50 euros per person to stay for another 30 days.

In the evening, we watched a movie before going out to eat, since there is not much to do or see in Krabi Town. Just when we were at the scariest part of the movie, someone knocked on our room door several times, which scared us half to death. I cautiously opened the door and almost slammed it shut out of reflex and fear until I realized that it was my mom standing outside to surprise me- and it definitely worked 😀😊😊 With her convincing lies, I was the only one who thought we would pick her up the next day and was already organizing a transfer to the airport, when she actually flew a day earlier. It was so surreal to see each other again after half a year in Thailand.

The next day, we took a Tuktuk to Ao Nang Beach with a kilometer-long beautiful promenade, the typical longtail boats, and huge rocks sticking out of the sea - absolutely stunning!!! We had a relaxed day there, which my mom definitely needed after the flight to settle in.
