Do 19.8. Bergen - Hardangerfjord - Voss

Slightly cloudy, with lots of bright sunshine

After the stop in Stavanger at 6:30 am, there is no more waves as we continue within the archipelago, with views of the mountains similar to the Hurtigrouten. The arrival in Bergen with sunshine (!) is on time and after passport and COVID certificate control, we can start the journey.

We made it! We are in Norway! Our next route takes us east to the Hardanger Fjord. Here we have a lunch break with a view of the fjord and a glacier in the mountains of Hardangervidda.

After passing through what feels like 20 tunnels, along other fjords and lakes, and a short stop in Voss, we reach a small campsite right next to a waterfall. That means we can hear the waterfall and not the traffic on the road. Today, we treat ourselves to one of our rationed beers in front of the cabin.
