Blenheim Palace with the family

For my uncle so he won't complain anymore :P Don't worry, I'll continue if something interesting happens ^^

And today there was definitely something exciting. My morning was pretty calm. Sleeping in, getting ready, and around one o'clock we went to Blenheim Palace. A huge area with a castle, park, gardens, butterfly house, maze, and much more...
Next time we go there, we'll buy annual passes :D
It was really beautiful there. We met Asher (Jess' sister-in-law) and the children there. We also brought the dogs. So we had Cracker and Asher had Ruby. Together, we took a little walk through the park and the children played. That's when I found the Harry Potter Tree. Yes, that's really its name. Apparently, some scenes for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix were filmed here. (The tree with the hole)
Afterwards, we leisurely went back to the castle and had a hot chocolate or coffee. The children really wanted to ride the little train, so of course we did that too. It was really cute. At the other end of the track were part of the gardens. Actually, the butterfly house, a lavender garden, the maze, and a playground. There was also a Peter Pan fountain and this huge deck chair. I almost couldn't get out of it :D It was really beautiful there. Next time we go, we'll also visit the castle. Then I'll also go to the gardens, we didn't have time for that today. Then just go home, have something to eat, and put the children to bed. And the best part? Jess and I ordered a sewing machine for me :D
