Day 22

Today we didn't start from the campsite until around half past 11. The planned route was not that far, only 190 km. Along the way, we made a big shopping trip because the campsite asked us not to empty the local supermarket.

For lunch, we tried PizzaHut, but the menu was too complex. The order had to be placed online, and we had to register for the local Wi-Fi. So we quickly switched to McDonald's in the opposite parking lot. But even there, it was very crowded and chaotic behind the counter. They also forgot 3 items in our order.

Then we continued towards Wales in the mountainous area. It started raining, and the temperature dropped to 11 degrees Celsius around 3:30 PM.

When we arrived, we were informed about the offered Midge Spray. I didn't even know that these bugs also live here.

After we set up in the rain, the wind died down during dinner, and they were already here. I think we've all been bitten quite a bit. I've already bought the spray for £10.

The charging is not working properly either. It stopped at 8%, and when I tried to fix it, I ran into a real swarm. I'll have to try again tomorrow.
