Day 3

Off to Euboea - or as it's actually called, Evvia. {äw,ia}. It really makes you wonder how and why place names are so wrongly and brutally uncoolified. But never mind! Evvia is worth the trip - 30 minutes by ferry from the mainland to Voutra and then to the green or burned black island - where an extreme fire raged last year. Mountains and curves, that's why we came, with hunger and wide eyes at lunchtime.
